It's Performance Week!! We are so excited that we get to perform for everyone on Friday. We will only have 5 words this week for spelling and no vocabulary. Then kids need to practice their poems daily. Here are some reminders and important dates:

• Students need to wear denim bottoms on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - with their uniform shirts on Wednesday and Thursday. The students will change into their flag shirts here at school.
• The performance begins at 8:30 on Friday in the Theatre. We will have a small reception in the 2nd grade hallway following.
• Friday is Spirit Day. The kids can bring a spirit shirt to change into or they can wear their flag shirt from the program.
• If your child brings in a rainforest stuffed animal to be used on stage it MUST have their name on it. Please start sending those in!
• Tomorrow the students can wear Spirit Wear. This is a special reward for winning the box top competition.
