Monday, April 8th after Town Hall – 8:15ish

Please have your child come dressed as their person. You DO NOT need to buy a costume. Be creative! It does not have to be anything fancy. Your child will also be working on memorizing information about their person for homework this week. They will be presenting as if they are that person. They will bring home their research. You are welcome to research more with them. They need to bring their uniform to change into.

Field Trip

As a part of “Celebrate the Arts” this year, we will be learning about the clay art form at the Morean Arts Center of Clay. We will be visiting on Tuesday, April 9 from 10:45 am-12:00 pm. The students will also have a chance to work with clay after the demonstration. We will return for lunch at school. The students will still be able to buy lunch that day.

It is a very small building; so if you would like to meet us there, please let me know in advance in case space is an issue.

We will be reviewing in math this week. I will be sending home their last math assessment sometime this week. Please make sure to look over it, sign it, and return to school. We will be reviewing these skills this week.
I am sure your child has told you that our caterpillars have arrived! Some of them have survived and some have not. We are going to be watching them over the next couple of weeks as they grow and eventually form chrysallis'. The students have their caterpillars in individual containers right now. Once they have formed a chrysallis, they will be moved into the butterfly "cage". To say the kids are excited is an understatement.
This week is Relay for Life week. Your child may wear purple tops with uniform bottoms all week. We will head out to the track Friday morning to kick of Relay for Life. Students do have permission to wear Rays shirts tomorrow with uniform bottoms as it is opening day.
On April 19 the Lower Division faculty invites you to attend our students' Celebrate the Arts performance. It begins at 11:00AM. Following the show, we will have a half an hour for students to picnic with their families and friends.

There is no school on April 22.

Scholastic orders due Friday - this will be the last order this year.

Have a wonderful week!
