Week of November 15th

It's Performance Week!! We are so excited that we get to perform for everyone on Friday. We will not be having any spelling or vocab this week. However, the kids will still have homework and will need to practice their poems daily. Here are some reminders and important dates:

• Students need to wear denim bottoms on Thursday and Friday. The students will change into their flag shirts here at school.
  
• Each students needs to bring in a bandana to school by WEDNESDAY at the latest. This was mentioned on the pink sheet when the flags came home. Solé's mom has some extra if any one is interested. They are $1.00. Please send the dollar in an envelope with Solé's name on it. I would also suggest emailing Marilu if you are interested: marilu@imagestation.net.
• The performance begins at 8:30 on Friday. We will have a small reception in the 2nd grade hallway following.
  
• Friday is Spirit Day. The kids can bring a spirit shirt to change into or they can wear their flag shirt from the program.
• If your child brings in a rainforest animal to be used on stage it MUST have their name on it.
