- Friday - A movement lesson (Hoola Monsters) and a visit from an artist
Please remember that the students will be performing on Friday at 11:00 outside followed by a picnic lunch at noon. Students need to bring a lunch unless they signed up for the SAGE bag lunch on Friday. Please join us if you can. IMPORTANT: Students are NOT to run around or play on or near the playground. They are to sit and enjoy lunch. Thank you! The students need to wear plain white tshirts with khaki bottoms on Friday. NO spirit wear.
Along with these fun activities, we will have a visit from one of the students in the French class we have been writing to tomorrow. On Wednesday, we will have a special health presentation.
Please remember to send me your letter to your child as soon as possible. I need to get them into their portfolios before the Portfolio Share on the 29th. The sooner the better please! Remember, you can send it to me via email.
We have no spelling or vocabulary this week. However, they will be quizzed on the math facts that are on the back side of the Homework Sheet. As we continue to move on in our math units, please make sure that your child is able to recall their addition and subtraction facts quickly without the use of their fingers. This is very important as they move on into third grade.
Mrs. Mirza is with us this week. She is spending the week getting to know the children as well as learning what our days are like! She will return after this week on May 1st (my last day).
I hope your child told you all about our field trip last week! We will have one more field trip this year on May 8th to MOSI in Tampa. More details will come home as the date gets closer.
